Hastings Town Deal Open Day, Saturday 15th October

Hastings Town Deal is hosting an open day this Saturday 15 October to re-introduce residents, businesses and visitors to the £90m regeneration programme currently taking place in Hastings.

The 6-10 year programme consists of a series of projects run by the community, businesses and the council, which aim to rejuvenate the town and make Hastings a healthy, vibrant and quirky seaside town that people love to visit, live and work in.

Visit the central hub for the Open Day in Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, Hastings between 10am and 4pm to find out information about the projects in the programme, with members of the Town Deal team and project leads present. It’s your chance to talk to and find out more about each of the exciting projects.

There will also be events taking place across the town, from guided tours around co-working office spaces, to fun crafts at The Common Room. Come along to Priory Meadow to find out exactly what's going on.

If you're already headed into town for the bonfire, then pop down early and take a look!

On 27 July 2019, the Prime Minister announced that the Towns Fund would support an initial 101 places across England to develop Town Deal proposal, to drive economic regeneration and deliver long-term economic and productivity growth.

A Town Deal is an agreement in principle between government, the Lead Council and the Town Deal board. It will set out a vision and strategy for the town, and what each party agrees to do to achieve this vision.
